We are looking for more Paediatric Occupational Therapists to join our Team!

  • Full time and part time positions available in Bangor – Sutherland Shire
  • Experienced paediatric therapists, graduates and those seeking a career change will be considered.
  • Full-time hours worked across a 9-day fortnight
  • Work from home 1 day per fortnight and enjoy a long weekend every alternate week.
  • Join a well-resourced clinic offering regular 1-hour weekly supervision with senior therapists including 1:1 mentoring. 
  • Our practice owner is a well-respected, highly skilled, and experienced therapist who is hands on in the clinic. 
  • Fortnightly in-clinic Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

About us

Family Connections Sydney is a dynamic, innovative practice working predominantly with children and young people providing assessment and therapy services individually and in small groups. We are offering an exciting opportunity for you to join our team in a full-time or part time position, open to new graduates and experienced therapists, including those who are looking for a career change to paediatrics. 

We focus on Sensory Integration and relationship based, neurodevelopmental approaches guided by evidence in relevant research studies and rapidly growing knowledge in the field of neuroscience. Our clinic is well resourced with equipment, assessment and professional development materials.  

Our therapists are trained in a diverse range of programs. This enables each practitioner to find the clinical pathway they are most interested in and expands the services they can provide. Irena, our Clinical Director, encourages personal growth and career progression.

  • You will have a manageable caseload allowing time to build confidence and expertise.  All therapists are provided with administrative support. 
  • Our practice provides opportunities for professional growth and development through regular CPD and working collaboratively with other therapists in the team.

Mandatory requirements     

  • Bachelor or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy  
  • Current registration with AHPRA 
  • Membership to Occupational Therapy Australia or willingness to obtain. 
  • Current Professional & Public Liability Insurance 
  • NDIS Worker Screening & NSW Working with Children Checks 
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills  
  • Driver’s Licence and access to own vehicle. 

Family Connections Sydney is a Registered NDIS Provider for Therapeutic Supports, Early Intervention Supports for Early Childhood and Specialist Behaviour Support.
